Des enseignants en colère contre la nouvelle carte scolaire
Ce mardi 11 mars 2025, les rues de Paris ont été marquées par une nouvelle manifestation des enseignants du primaire. À l’appel des syndicats, environ 1 500 enseignants et directeurs d’écoles se sont mobilisés pour protester contre les dernières mesures du ministère de l’Éducation nationale. En cause : la fermeture annoncée de 180 classes et la fin d’un dispositif particulier de décharge pour les directeurs d’écoles parisiennes.
Une mobilisation qui bloque la validation de la carte scolaire
La grève s’est intensifiée au moment du conseil départemental de l’Éducation nationale, prévu pour officialiser les nouvelles règles de répartition des postes à la rentrée 2025. Mais face à la pression des syndicats et au refus des élus du personnel de siéger, cette séance a été reportée au 20 mars prochain.
Les chiffres révèlent l’ampleur du mouvement : 1 500 manifestants selon les organisateurs, 860 selon la police. Le cortège est parti de la place de la Sorbonne pour rejoindre le ministère de l’Éducation nationale, où une délégation espérait être reçue, sans succès.
Une réforme contestée et des revendications fortes
Les syndicats dénoncent une dégradation des conditions d’enseignement et un manque de considération du gouvernement face à la baisse d’effectifs dans les écoles publiques parisiennes. Depuis 2010, la capitale a perdu 33 689 élèves, et les prévisions pour la rentrée indiquent encore 3 200 élèves en moins. Pourtant, les enseignants affirment que la suppression des classes nuira à la qualité de l’enseignement et alourdira les effectifs par classe.
Claire Brezot, enseignante en primaire, exprime son indignation : “L’État prétend améliorer l’école mais sans moyens. Comment assurer un enseignement de qualité en supprimant des postes et en surchargant les classes ?”
Une spécificité parisienne menacée
L’un des points les plus contestés concerne la suppression des décharges de direction pour les directeurs d’écoles parisiennes. Depuis 1982, un régime dérogatoire leur permet de ne plus assurer d’enseignement à partir de cinq classes, contre treize ailleurs en France. Ce dispositif, financé jusqu’en 2019 par la mairie de Paris, est aujourd’hui jugé non conforme par le ministère.
La ministre de l’Éducation nationale, Elisabeth Borne, a annoncé une concertation avec la Ville de Paris pour discuter de cette spécificité, avec des résultats attendus d’ici fin avril. Pourtant, les enseignants redoutent un recul des conditions de travail, d’autant plus que la Cour des comptes a recommandé la suppression de ce dispositif, estimé à 116 millions d’euros pour 2023-2024.
Parents et enseignants unis contre la réforme
Face à ces changements, les enseignants ne sont pas seuls. De nombreux parents d’élèves et élus locaux ont rejoint la mobilisation, craignant une baisse de la qualité d’encadrement dans les écoles parisiennes. “Nous avons besoin de directeurs déchargés de leurs heures d’enseignement pour mieux gérer les écoles, notamment en zone prioritaire”, explique Nathalie, directrice d’une école maternelle.
Les syndicats annoncent déjà de nouvelles actions pour faire entendre leurs revendications, dans un contexte où la question de l’éducation devient un sujet de tension majeur entre les enseignants et le gouvernement.
